Fees and Charges
There are various charges associated with renting a property that you should be aware of when considering making an offer on a property available through us.
Deposit of Intent
When making an offer that has been accepted subject to referencing and contract a deposit of intent in the sum of one week’s rent is required so the property is taken off the market. This amount will be off-set against your five weeks’ deposit. In the event of the referencing being unsuccessful and your offer is declined by our client it will be refunded in full.
A deposit of five weeks rent will be required. This deposit will be protected with My Deposit tenancy deposit scheme during the term of the tenancy.
Preparation of tenancy agreement, extensions and variations
There are no charges to the tenant for the preparation of the tenancy agreement or extensions to the tenancy agreement. However, any variation to the tenancy agreement will incur a charge of £50.00.
Referencing is carried out by HomeLet referencing agency including establishing the right to rent in the UK. There is no charge to the tenant for this service.
The inventory check-in and check-out is carried out by an independent inventory company. There is no charge to the tenant for this service.
